PECOS, TX. TO BANDERA, TX.

330 miles....26 hours....LOTS of uncontrolled giggling...watch the damn road Rosie!
Drove in Rosie's Expedition truck pulling an enclosed trailer.
Went there to get Peggy's stuff out of storage....a girl's trip.
Bandera has about 1,000 people.
Cowboy capital of the world.
Lots of bikers...Sunday mornings it's a popular destination for motorcyclists from San Antonio...it's known as the Bandera Breakfast run.
Trees and water....we ain't in west texas anymore! Even though the trees were bare and the water low.....it's different.
Honky tonks...didn't go to any.
Ate food we can't get in Pecos: chicken salad stuffed avacodos, philly cheesesteak sandwiches, good Chinese food.

Dear Mary,

The road trip looks like a heck of a lot of fun. The cabin cats really have a great set up there.

Is that a real live armadillo??
Love,
Dave
