NOTHING MUCH.

I saw a lizard like this yesterday at work...except mine had stripes on his back.
He was running around a sandy area right outside the back door and then tried to come inside. Oy...Lucy would've freaked out...she's very afraid of lizards and geckos of any kind. It seems that the lizards lose the color of blue as they grow older.

Wind gusts today of 55 mph...sigh...it's getting old folks.

The beer joint in Pyote called Aunt Jackie's had it's yearly benefit last Saturday. We didn't go but donated a bottlecap snake and they auctioned it off. It fetched $48.!!

Twenty seven percent of Pecos' population is below the poverty line.

Gene saw a lady in the grocery store who looked familiar. They kept looking at each other. Turns out it was Rosie...they worked together at Gary Job Corps and we hadn't seen her in over 20 years. We had dinner with her and her husband last Friday night at the Pecos Social Lodge. The lodge is members only and looks like a dump...but the steaks were good. We've been meaning to go there ever since we moved here.

Radio Hotline:
Boring...no entries today.

That's all.
Love, Mary
